Electrical Testing & Maintenance

Startup and Acceptance

Before newly installed electrical equipment is started, it requires acceptance testing.  It must meet all specified requirements for function and design.  Electrical Testing Solutions will perform a thorough examination of your electrical equipment following installation and wiring into your power system and make sure all equipment, switches, and connections pass the grade for safe installation and operation not only today, but well into the future.

Technical Services

Switchgear power systems are used as a preventive and proactive mechanism that control, protect and isolate power systems to ensure to allow short circuiting of specific circuits without interrupting the flow of the entire electrical system.  Because they are very reliable, they are often the most overlooked part of electrical distribution system maintenance.  Testing should be completed every 3-5 years to identify problems in the switchgear before a fault happens which can lead to complete power outages and damage to the switchgear. Our services are available nationwide.

Training Services

Electrical safety training in the workplace is a requirement by OSHA and is the employer’s responsibility for identifying and training both qualified and unqualified personnel. Electrical Testing Solutions provides training on utilizing and understanding NFPA 70E as a guide on how to operate safely around electrical equipment. Electrical Testing Solutions offers training for your personnel with options of a ½ day, full day, or 2-day training class. Training topics include how to identify electrical hazards, probability of injuries that can occur, understanding arc flash warning labels, working on equipment with or without arc flash labels, how to confirm that equipment is safe to work on utilizing test equipment and selection of proper personal protective equipment (PPE).

Our instructors have years of experience in the industry that includes engineering, acceptance testing, maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical systems. Training classes are provided at your site.
